SAVA.GEO

Do you know Sava.Geo? Neither did we, and we haven’t got that much information, apart from the fact that it is a pseudonym of the Greek musician Savvas Georgiadis. All tracks are composed during the winter of 2015-2016 in Thessaloniki, and even if Greek winters are not that cold, the compositions definitely are.

All song are instrumental and can be considered as a mixture of dark ambient and the sound of Vangelis, to name another Greek. The artist describes the tracks as cinematic, dark and moody and that is absolutely the right term to use.

You can enjoy them while lying on your bed and dreaming away, but you surely can use them as film scores too because they would fit perfect in a film like Drive.

The sole minor point is that Zeitgeist could use a bit more variation, but apart from that, the 11 tracks (17 if you buy the CD) will please lovers of electronic music like say Jean-Michel Jarre. So if you can’t get enough of this, you know what to check out next!
