Since 2010 this Argentine band releases something every two years. The last one is a mini album which contains 5 songs that are mixed by Aidan S in Birmingham who also added some guitar and keyboard parts. They started in 2010 as a duo, but since a few years the line-up is a trio: El Guru (guitar and vocals), Romina Dusk (drums) and Vega (bass).

Rectificando El Sueño is a fine EP with atmospheric and ethereal gothic rock. The sound is somewhere between The Mission, Aeon Sable and Héroes del Silencio at the time of Senderos de Trachion. The latter is not only mentioned because of the Spanish language, but mainly because the musical similarities.

Opener Estos Abismos is a lovely song with some nice guitar hooks, good percussion, atmospheric guitar sounds and a catchy chorus. Prefiero Caero reminds a bit of Aeon Sable because of the guitar. The bass has a typical goth sound. El Fin Del Mundo starts with a nice intro of synth and guitar, and then explodes. Five tracks that sounds beautiful, coherent and without one weak track.

This fourth release shows a mature band that brings us gothic rock which we rarely see these days. Everything sounds right: the atmosphere, songs and the production.

Sedert 2010 komt er om de twee jaar een nieuwe release van deze Argentijnse band uit. De laatste worp is een mini-album met 5 songs dat werd gemixt door Aidan S in een studio in Birmingham. Aidan speelde hier en daar ook wat gitaar- en keyboards. Het begon in 2010 als een duo, maar sedert enkele jaren gaan ze als een trio door het leven: El Guru (gitaar en vocals), Romina Dusk (drums) en Vega (Bass).

Rectificando El Sueño is een fijne EP met sfeervolle en soms etherisch klinkende gothicrocksongs. Het geluid ligt ergens tussen The Mission, Aeon Sable en Heroes Del Silencio ten tijde van Senderos de Trachion. Die laatste niet alleen vanwege het Spaans, maar ook omwille van enkele muzikale gelijkenissen.

Opener Estos Abismos is meteen een fijne song met enkele leuke hooks, eenondersteunende percussie, sfeerrijk gitaargetokkel en een catchy refrein. Prefiero Caero doet wat aan Aeon Sable denken vanwege de akkoorden. De bas heeft een typisch gothgeluid. El Fin Del Mundo bouwt rustig verder op de intro: synth en gitaar, om dan stevig van wal te trekken. Een echte rocksong zoals Heroes Del Silencio ze dus ook maakt. Vijf tracks die mooi coherent klinken en waar geen zwakke compositie tussen staat. Alles klopt: de sfeer, de songs en de productie. Een fijne kennismaking.
