It will be loud this May! The Hamburg-based band Lord Of The Lost returns with a brand new single named The Love Of God on May 13th. The record comes as a 5-tracks version limited to 999 copies.
The Love Of God spells out what some of you might have expected. Lord Chris Harms and his allies show their diehards that LOTL worked on their own style during the last months. And they seem to succeed in doing so. The main song is an interesting rock/metal track somewhere between the devil and the deep blue sea. A speedy anthem with quite some influences from the 1980s.The howling of sirens paired with black metal chorus parts will surely give you the creeps.
The Love of God is also available as a piano version here. Compared to the original version of the track, the lack of drums and guitars and some fairground sound elements create an easygoing atmosphere.
The Tobias Martens Ego Version is an instrumental. A must-hear for the fans of LOTL drummer Tobias, but a real treat for everyone else too!
The exclusive track Another Sunny Day In Paradise is everything but sunny. Slow, dark, evil-minded and curst, the song underscores the development of the distinct sound of LOTL.
Track 5, Blut für Blut, is a tidbit for all LOTL followers. The German version of Blood For Blood, done by the brilliant guys of Erdling, is the finishing touch of this recent masterpiece coming out of the Lord’s dead black empire.
LOTL is certainly reaching for the ebony stars and I’m sure this time it’ll capture more than one!
