Who said that we just love dark music here at Peek-A-Boo? Anyway, once you slot this CD in your player you get an uber-doomed world vision as a spoken voice tells you that somewhere in the near future (still 20 years to go!) this earth will no longer exist. Antartica melted, 2/3th of the world population lies beneath tombstones and there's no need to blame God as it us, the inhabitants who made it as it is.
Nah good, once this Finnish punk-rockers (Antti Aaltola, Tero Nousiainen and Emil Stenbäck) kicks in the doors with "Heartbreaking music", clearly there's still some hope left but still they think their punk songs are better added with a healthy dose of warning as hope is in short supply.
Often compared to Bad Religion, we guess this makes plenty of sense as for something like 30 minutes you get melodic sing along punk rock.
Original? Nah, not at all. But they have the right tunes and melodies and these elements are more than enough to make us conclude that this is a classy punk pop record.
And if we're saying punk, then we mean real punk and not your manufactured MTV-punk that's been delivered in expensive Hollywood clips.
