It`s as they say, when it rains it pours. Here comes the flood.”

Founded in 2023, BRIDES is a Norwegian Neo-Expressionist Rock-N-Roll project helmed by Adrian Borgia. Described as an “apocalypse pop” sensation, BRIDES blends a kaleidoscope of influences ranging from Motörhead and Bad Religion to Jennifer Rush and Heart. The result? A sonic world where glam and grit coexist, leather meets longing, and Punk attitude melts into pop balladry—with a wink toward the Lizard Kings of yore.

Adrian Borgia’s musical vision pulls from both highbrow philosophy and low-slung rock mythology: part Kierkegaard, part leather-clad frontman howling through static. BRIDES isn’t just a band—it’s a mood, a movement, a late-night monologue on the edge of the world.

Clocking in at just 27 minutes, BRIDES’ sophomore album ‘Sandcastle’ wastes no time. It’s a record about impermanence—empires collapsing, moments slipping through fingers, lust and loss suspended in sonic amber. With its tagline of “imperial decline, sex, and living in the moment,” Sandcastle is as much a fever dream as it is a concept album.

The atmosphere is tight and deliberate: shadowy synths, icy post-punk guitar riffs, and industrial echoes glide beneath Adrian Borgia’s unmistakable voice—part croon, part sermon.

Glamorous, doomed, and utterly alive—‘Sandcastle’ is the sound of holding on as everything slips away.

This album isn’t about bashing religion and faith. That would be a pretty cheap trick.
