KRIEG-B consists of Dominique Lallement (Kriegbereit, Cobalt60, K-Bereit) and Benoit Buyse (Nihiliste, Dreadfool).

A fusion of 40 years of experience and musical activity in industrial, EBM, and darkwave. This French-Belgian duo bombards you with beats from all directions. Their debut album, War Drums' Resonance, features 11 tracks—musically diverse yet packed with everything electro has to offer. Those who have seen these artists perform in other projects know they come from a strong background. Musically varied, yet reinforcing each other perfectly in Krieg-B.

The album kicks off with Special Operations, a danceable and relatively digestible track. And there are more like it on the album. Don't get me wrong—"digestible" doesn't mean less intense or enjoyable. It's just still manageable.

Under Pressure is a solid dark electro track with an unexpectedly sweet touch in the melody. But make no mistake—it's still powerful and refined on all levels.

Time to lace up those polished Dr. Martens (or any similar footwear) and stomp away to Napalm Girl. You can feel the album on the verge of explosion now. The influences from their previous projects are recognizable, but the combination this duo delivers is on a whole other level.

I get completely battered by Corpus Christi. It starts as a sweet song adorned with church-like chants—thankfully short-lived! As soon as the dark beats kick in and an incredible melody joins the mix, it transforms into a seasoned dark electro track, reminiscent of the master himself, Hocico. I sense the same energy in Artificial Minds, an unparalleled dancefloor killer. Thunderously loud, demanding you dance your soul out of your body. This sets the tone for Carnage.

With Truth Lies, Krieg-B shifts toward an old-school sound, wrapped in an industrial shell. The tempo changes are excellent, and the chorus is enough to make your hair stand on end.

And then, one more track I have to highlight—save the best for last? Not quite. But S.C.S.N. is harsh industrial to the core. Here, the duo ventures into the realm of bands like Centhron and Psyclon Nine. Deafeningly brutal, harsh to the bone.

Given the musical background of both members, it's no surprise that we’re served a powerful and convincing album. A band that puts Belgium (and France) back on the map for harder electro. Danceable, enjoyable, and utterly convincing. A newborn to embrace!
