NO:CARRIER

Anyone who has an interest in the current wavescene will know that Echozone is a German label that gives new bands a chance. A good example is of course our own Der Klinke, but No:Carrier are also a signing they can be proud of. No:Carrier is a duo that consists of Cynthia Wechselberger and Chris Wirsig. It’s very difficult to pin down their music but in a way they are a fine mix between electronic pop (The Dust Of Basement), upbeat electro (L’Ame Immortelle) and ethereal wavepop (later Cocteau Twins). It takes a while before the 12 songs have found a place inside your head, but after some plays “Wisdom & Failure” turns out to be a fine electronic piece of work. Give it a chance if you’re into ethereal wavepop.
