Never understood how they do it in Sweden, but apart from great crime series and fab pop, the country also hosts lots of great electro bands. From Sundsvall comes Tolchock. They’re not exactly new as they are already doing their thing since 1998 with records that have been released on labels like COP, but Elements Of Rage is nonetheless their brand new album. After some rest, the band is back with a third offering and it’s fantastic! It’s electro mixed with catchy pop and a real punk attitude, the sound you get when putting ABBA through a KMFDM-blender. A tune like Walk Of Shame could have been on a Spice Girls album, if only those girls would have listened to Ministry or Revolting Cocks. The tracks are loud, have a dirty touch and it’s extremely sex! Well, I guess I’m addicted! Great!
