The German melodic kings present us a new album, starting with 'Union Of The Strong', a typical positive song about getting together and fighting for the same goal. The voice is pretty clean, the guitars and drums play pretty fast, without getting too loud. After this song you get for sure a positive vibe and who knows even a big smile on your face! Optimism is the red line all over the album and they succeed brilliantly in it! Do I hear some trumpets on 'Knights Of Taragon'? Ride on and tear the darkness away! 'Heart Of A Warrior' is something that everybody needs to listen to at once if they struggle with something in their life. It feels you get loads of energy and a positive vibe. 'Come On Home' gets lots of voices as backup and a high octane screaming voice! Feel the positive vibe and sing along with the catchy chorus! 'Beyond' starts with a nice piano and a very fragile voice. Somehow it feels as a possible Robbie Williams ballade, before the guitars and drums give it the right tune and the energetic musical outburst sends it into metal heaven! 'Among The Shadows' has a nice piano and some nice breaks just before the song gets lifted up to a higher level! 'Edge Of The Ocean' is a well driven guitar song, with a mighty chorus! 'Journey Into Wonderland' is a very appealing title, love the trumpets or the synth noise that comes close to it! Once again the chorus lifts up the song to a higher level! 'In The Rhythm Of Light' starts almost like a Roxette song before the happy metal takes over and the songs' fantasy lyric drowns you into a totally different world! 'Dance Off The Devil' has nice bagpipes in it and that sounds a bit strange if you know that they don't have bagpipes in Africa. The sound on this song is a bit different from the other songs, but it's worth it and a nice change of tune! 'Paladin' is a nice rocker, love the fantastic lyrics! 'Follow Your Heart' is so sweet and great, I hope a lot of people listen to this great hearted song and feel the happiness and the positive vibe! 'Colours Of Freedom' is a false ballad. 'Beyond Eternity' gets the bagpipes back, just as the war drums. This sounds perfect as an end song!
