Not even three months after the release of their magnificent Mini-album Head Buried Portion Control hits hard again with this four-track Seed EP1. Barely we have recovered from their sucker punch Head Buried and again we are blown away by this British electro-pioneer duo! Seed opens up with an alternative mix of Telekinesis baring the appendix number V2. Telekinesis was already a stunner track and this version only confirms it. Track two, ‘Crystal’ has a firm straight 4/4 beat, even slightly more uptempo as we are used to from these guys. Synths that sometimes almost sound like screaming guitars float, alternating with Dean Piavanni’s voice, over the pounding beats of this track. ‘Whiterose’, the third track from this EP has about the same uptempo pace as ‘Crystal’ and runs by like a heavy runaway freight train. On the fourth, instrumental and final track ‘Martial’ of this release one can almost see and definitely hear this runaway freight rip through everything it encounters on its tracks. Pure electro-industrial madness! Can’t wait for SEED 2!
