Belgian EBM band Pro Patria is back after 20 years with a new album Back to Basics!
Perhaps you have heard the name before, because Pro Patria was, or is a Belgian EBM band founded back in the 90’s. Today, exactly 20 years after they released their debut album Quod Erat Demonstrandum Pro Patria is back with a brand new album, named Back to Basics.
At first glimpse the old, rather bombastic Pro Patria style is immediately recognizable, but sounding maybe more raw and direct these days. “Most of the inspiration for this album came from some very difficult times that I have to endure” says Pro Patria founder, composer and singer Peter Vercauteren.
Worth mentioning is Pro Patria will be playing their first come-back show at The Rise of the Belgian Empire in Leipzig, January 20th. More info here!
This Christmas Seadrake is giving you a very special gift! From December 22 until New Years Eve you will be able to download an exclusive unreleased remix of their new single ”Something Durable”.

Exactly one year ago Nine Inch Nails released Not the Actual Events, an EP released on Trent Reznor's own label The Null Corporation. On this EP Trent worked together with long-time collaborator Atticus Ross, his wife Mariqueen Maandig (How to Destroy Angels), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction / Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Dave Grohl (Nirvana / Foo Fighters).
Not the Actual Events is meant to be the first part of a EP trilogy. In July 2017 the second part Add Violence was released while the announcement for release from the third and final EP can be expected any day now.
The overall sound on this EP reminds to the 1990's sound of Nine Inch Nails’s, electronics, distorted bass, noisy guitars and of course one of Trent's most recognizable trademarks... The nostalgic piano tunes.
Reznor himself described the record as “an unfriendly, fairly impenetrable record that we needed to make.”
Tracklist
1. Branches/Bones
2. Dear World
3. She's Gone Away
4.The Idea of You
5. Burning Bright (Field on Fire)
All tracks written by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

North American Industrial/Metal band Ministry announce new album with new single & video!
Ministry, the North American Industrial/Metalheads will be releasing a new studio album called 'AmeriKKKant', their first release on Nuclear Blast Records, on 9th March 2018. In addition, the band’s Al Jourgensen is proud to release the album’s first single/ official music video, “Antifa,” that stands up to the political chaos that is currently going on in America.
Watch the brand new video for Antifa here or scroll down!
“This album, ‘AmeriKKKant,’” said Jourgensen, "will provide FEMA-type relief for the devastation ‘Hurricane Cheeto’ has brought upon us."
Produced by Al Jourgensen, recorded at Caribou Studios in Burbank, CA between January and May this year, and with striking artwork created by Mister Sam Shearon, the psychedelic, politically influenced and very much in-your-face AmeriKKKant’s nine tracks are rooted in Jourgensen’s unadulterated anger for what’s happening in America today - the waning respect for the U.S. Constitution, the growing acceptance of one’s opinions replacing facts, the decline of our leaders’ sense of morals, ethics and personal responsibility to the country and to their constituents, and the mad man in the White House.
AmeriKKKant track listing:
1. I Know Words
2. Twilight Zone
3. Victims of a Clown
4. TV5/4Chan
5. We’re Tired of It

Black Needle Noise released the new single “SyStem Bi” featuring Fakeba on 8th December through Black Needle Noise Records in association with No Devotion Records. Fakeba is the Senegal based electronic music artist who sings in her native Wolof language, the language of Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania.
BNN is the perpetual and evolving project within which John Fryer surprises us once again with a peculiar collaboration.
John doesn’t like limitations or labels. Instead, he is open to experimenting and exploring the sound and embracing different influences, ideas and creative collaborators.
The song is radiating the positive energy; characterised by the beautiful and flowing melody and the striking chorus. John Fryer and Fakeba mix traditional influences with the modern approach which makes this song one of the most interesting BNN singles.
The accompanying video was made in collaboration with Gina Czarnecki. After having seen Gina’s short film “Spintex”, John thought it would fit the song perfectly. He edited the footage and made a really nice interpretation of her film, to their mutual pleasure. The scenes were filmed at a night club in Ghana and the images which appear before our eyes bring thoughts of people united in motion and life.
