Those familiar with the line-up of Bodybeats Festival 2011 will surely have noticed the band Motor, the very same duo who accompanied Depeche Mode on their tour in 2009. Characteristic of the bands performing at Bodybeats is a certain amount of beats and bleeps, a feature successfully accomplished by Mr. No and Bryan Black. “Hyper Machine” contains an hour of electronic bleeping, inspired by acid and other techno sounds. Most of the songs on “Hyper Machine” – an album worthy of its name – are instrumental, giving you the impression of taking part in the film “Tron”. Hyper-jumpy beats at high BPM-rate, snoring motors surrounding you and music with one single goal: to get the party started!
