THE STRIPPER PROJECT

First of all: I didn't knew this band, nor did I knew that it's a project from Kyle Whipp and Neil Ash (known from the UK band 'Children on Stun'). I listened to it before looking at the info and I loved it. It's soft, nice and very dreamy. I love the way the vocals sound. Musically spoken it could be some side-project from the Stone Roses or some eighties cold wave band with typical Britpop influences. The 10 songs are almost all starting from a different sound and approach, which makes it a pleasure to listen to it and discover what's underneath each layer. I love this kind of well worked out music. Maybe they could also work together with Vive la Fête, because somehow I feel they would be a good match? Looking forward to hear more from them...
