A band that name themselves after a Gary Numan's song: it creates some expectations about how they will sound like. Aircrash Bureau filled this first full release with a series of nice EBM / synthpop tracks with a hint towards the old days, but also a "modern" topping. And somewhere in their music, you can indeed find the influence of Gary Numan... "New Citizen" even uses some of the same sounds Numan uses in his Aircrash Bureau. I would like to hear more of this band and truly hope they will evolve to become more than just a band that pays tribute to Numan by producing music that sounds like the master himself.
