Séance, the new album of God Module... The title says it all: a complete session of God Module to take us on a trip through their musical world. And what a trip... As reference, I keep hits like Victims Amongst Friends, Illusion and (of course) Resurrection in mind, but as soon as I push the play button, these references fade away. This album is different...
A constant tempo between 120 and 130 BPM (only 2 tracks colour out of line!), with tracks flowing over into each other like a perfect mix... All suitable for the playlist of the electro club-DJ... Not just harsh music and distorted vocals, but from time to time a soothening female voice... No fast ravy beats, but a flowing tempo of danceable vibes...
Personal favourites? I cannot name any: the album is one highlight for me. If it's on the road on my way towards a party, or at home, relaxing in my sofa: it seems to be fitting everywhere and at any time!
