METAL DISCO

Oh, how we love it when we get a review request in our mail box without having any information about the band. In all honesty, such mails normally go straight in the bin, but what do you do when you feel the need to inform the readers about something great? Well, then you think of some words and you hope that at the end people will click on the link, don't you?

So don’t start asking me who Metal Disco is! All we know is that this man (or is it a band?) has released a mighty tape on Werkstatt Recordings recently. A great piece that contains 10 songs (well nine plus one remix!)t. A style that feels like a minimal synth version of Giorgio Moroder with a dark undertone in Snowy Red or Fad Gadget-style. So yes, it feels like it was made in 1983 and that’s the beauty of it! You can dance to it, perhaps you will cry when you hear it, who knows you will be frightened as it has a damn cold sound, you will keep on pushing the repeat button, but you’ll never know who this is.
