Accolade is a fresh band from San Francisco and presents us some ethereal gothic rock. The life in and around a festival/circus is the red line which is made clear in some songs. The music is good and has a light medieval (and not only with the use of a tambourine, zills and an antique reed organ) touch, but Stefanie Renée can't always keep the high tones There is some work that still needs to be done about that, because there is already a lot been published in this swimming pool and you really need to compete with the best if you want to survive. It's a good start though...

A highlight on this record is for sure 'Renaissance fair' is for sure a difficult song to bring and yet they succeed (a capella), so there is hope... And they already received a good review in Sonic Seducer too!
