ALIEN HAND SYNDROME

This record almost directly got my attention. It's hard to label it. It could be an alternative version of 'Placebo' going underground (into Gothic/Rock/Alternative). The almost hypnotic sound mixed with harsh guitars, a few industrial influences and the strange voice of Clemens Engert keeps on driving you to the repeat button. 'Raison, Raison' has a 'Clan of Xymox' sound for example. 'Chainsaw Mascare' is for sure a lovely joke (but man, I love the piano and the cello on it). The best song and the one that realy hooked me is 'The Incredible Whiteness' (with Erynnia), another song to remember, a duet on the same level as Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, with a spooky sound. It´s a song about escaping from the real world with another person you´re in love with... It´s like leaving everything (authorities, rules etc.) behind and being together and getting high together ("we can swallow the earth, we can blister the sun")...'Broomstick Jesus' is a soft last song which asks for the repeat all button. I hope this one gets a lot of fans and followers, keep an eye on it. And I have to thank the people from PAB for sending me this one!
