Sometimes being a reviewer is the hardest job in the world, believe me! Take this for example. You get an email from a band who would like to have a review on our pages. You click the Soundcloud-page, but all you know is that they’re named Flares and that they have an album out which is free. Et voilà! That’s all.
Their music, well every track is different. I hear influences from Robert Fripp, Clan Of Xymox, Orbital, Radiohead, Massive Attack or even The Wolfgang Press. Or is it just me not being able to classify intelligent electronics? Who knows, but I love it…and I think you too. Hell, they even write better tunes than Coldplay, so there you go!
