HEIMSTATT YIPOTASH

Already the fifth album for Heimstatt Yipotash on the ‘Hands Label’. Their unique blend of electro and industrial is really great, and this album is spot on. ‘Mecanismos De Control’ is highly political and subversive. The intense rhythms and beats of this band are great to listen to, and it is even hard not to start dancing on some tracks.

Openings track ‘Diez Segundoz’ directly brings you in the mood, spotless electro sequences, brilliant organic percussion, and the Spanish vocal samples will let you shake and dance for sure. Musically this project can be compared with Esplendor Geometrico, not only because they are both Spanish based, but also for the hard and raw repetitive rhymes of most tracks.

One of my favorites is ‘Putch’, it handles about corruption and politicians , and has a really fantastic Angela Merkel sample in it. ‘Blanco Malo’ brings up the lack of diversity in the media, but also highly danceable. Heimstatt Yipotash brings you plenty of political criticism mixed with synths and beats, even sometimes with a touch of acid. So this album is highly dance floor compatible and I really enjoyed it. Even more, I m quite euphoric about this ‘Macanismos De Control’, and if you’re a real industrial lover who likes danceable electro sequences with vocal samples who have something to say, then this is a ‘must have’ for your collection
