Expectations is the second release by Berlin based Pretty Hurts. The band play hectic yet gloom laden punk verging on hardcore with songs around 1 and 2 minutes long. Chanted, almost monotone, vocals seem disaffected with life. Frantic guitars, driving bass and drums clamour in seeming discord to the end of each song. It’s cliché stuff, but fun all the same.
