CAZZURILLO

CAZZURIILO is a one girl band performer and home-made sound composer. “Ghosts Are Surfing Now” is actually one song of almost 18 minutes. It sounds musically as strange as the title. People who are into Trent Reznor‘s project How To Destroy Angels should listen to this song as well. The layered (almost industrial) music, the female voice and the alienating structure of the song should appeal to certain people. It’s weird (especially around the ninth minute with the unusual synthesizer/ organ approach), but has enough structure to keep interesting. The song has a hypnotising effect when you listen to it over and over again. It’s experimental, but it’s working. If you’re into strange music, experimental female voices (singing, whispering, screaming) and like to be surprised with ‘NOT the obvious’ than CAZZURIILLO creates almost 18 minutes of pleasure.
