Infrastition, once more, does a great job at reviving our “ancient” heroes! “Les Maîtres” offers demos and live-songs [of acceptable to very good sound quality] by the Parisian Cult band of the same name, 2 CD’s, 17 tracks, 2 drummers, 2 bass-players and insane, dark, theatrical vocals …Joy division “à la française”? Too easy! Les Maîtres have their own unique sound: driven, passionate, honest, exciting, melancholic, exploring boundaries of Cold Wave, New Wave and Post-punk …
