There’s nothing more difficult than judging a band on the base of one song only. But then again, the track is free and at the end you can decide if this British band has put a spell on you or not.
It is certainly dangerous if you start to compare yourself with Nick Cave, but this track by Mik Davis (Vox/Guitar), Neil Short (Bass/Vox) and John Bradford (Drums/Vox) certainly capture that same dark mood. The track has a dangerous feel and if it doesn’t match to Cave’s standards then they can at least pretend to be like say Crime & The City Solution, which is of course not such a bad thing either.
The track is certainly worth your attention, so why not try? Catch it here!
