18Summers presents a new album and unlike some bands this one doens't lose his powerful charisma. They worked on The Magic Circus just the way a big fan like me would love them to do: they kept the things that makes them great and expanded it it with some minore details. It is pretty funny to open with the first great hit by Silke Bischoff 'i don't love you anymore (you'll die)'. The First song 'Chipewwa lake Park' brings me directly where i always wanted to be with this band: captivated, moving slowly on the beat and exploding from time to time. Man what a charismatic voice.
Love the strings and for sure in 'Queen for a day', it was like inviting us all to play along and hide a tear.
Sometimes it's more electronic (inviting you to dance) and mostly great accoustic songs with a message like on 'The funeral'.
Overall an album fans will love.
