ALAN KELLY’S SEVEN HARD YEARS (7HY)

This one is a very commercial Prog Rock/Pop Rock jewel, genre Brian Adams. Most of the tracks are fluid rockers ('you Lie' is simply the best track) except 'Hold me now' (a romantic track, but the title says it all, right?), 'Live without you' (another romantic track) and the great ballad 'Never meant to hurt you' (with a superb piano). I also want to mention the nice electronic bleeps and the guitars in 'Show some Emotions'! In you are the one' a computer voice gets in and reminds me a bit too much about Daft Punk (and that is a bad thing in my eyes), but that's the only downside on this album, be assured!

Well, the music is nice, catchy and well worked out. I liked it; however the sound is a bit too commercial for me. At least I'm pretty sure this album will be loved by a lot of people!
