This 6 track EP is the second of the Ostia side-project Friends of Alice Ivy. From the first listen I was captivated and moved by dark and rich string atmospheres, plucked harps, neo-classical arrangements and the ethereal voice of Kylie who sings lyrics drained from mythology and literature. It’s a piece of art, a real masterpiece which makes you float away on a rainy day and makes you forget a hard days work. The studio did a great work, just as the artists. Australia is once again doing great! This is after Dead Can Dance and Louisa John-Krol.
A must have if you love this kind of music!
