This release sees for the first time the light of day thanks to the excellent label Norton North/It is a gem that contains four unreleased tracks that Kirlian Camera recorded in the period Todesengel the fall of life days (1989). A mighty release that comes both on silver vinyl (500 copies only) and a mini CD.

The Three Shadows opens with the splendid Lights From Poland and contains the cool syncopated sound of Vienna (We walked in the cold air, freezing breath on a window pane... the homonymous song of the Ultravox cover that opened Todesengel), all completed with a little cosmic synth riff.

Bondarenko: The Lost Days is a glacial and messianic epic song, recited in German by Angelo Bergamini. The other tracks, Data Retrieval Center Canada: Albert S. / Evening Shadow and Reentry are little gems as well and confirm the milestone of that period. Little jewels that are unpublished works of Angelo Bergamini.

The Three Shadows is a small image of time, a source of electronic decadent rhythms. Nothing is lost. Essential.

Norton North, dat eerder al oud material van de Italiaanse darkwave act Kirlian Camera uitbracht, heeft nog een leuk hebbedingetje voor de fans: een ep met daarop vier onuitgebrachte opnames die de bandi n de periode van Todesengel the fall of life days (1989) componeerde. Deze parel is zowel uitgebracht op zilver vinyl (500 exemplaren) als op mini-cd.

The Three Shadows opent met het geniale Lights From Poland en heeft hetzelfde gesyncopeerde geluid als Vienna (We walked in the cold air, freezing breath on a window pane..., de wereldberoemde woorden uit de Ultravox-cover waarmee Todesengel opende), en dat alles mooi afgewerkt met een kosmische synthriff.

Bondarenko: The Lost Days is een ijskoud Messiaans en episch werkstuk dat door Angelo Bergamini in het Duits wordt gezongen. De andere nummers, Data Retrieval Center Canada: Albert S. / Evening Shadow en Reentry zijn tevens prachtige voorbeelden van wat Kirlian Camera in deze periode deed. En zeggen, dat deze juweeltjes van Angelo Bergamini steeds in de kast hebben gelegen. Essentieel.
