Take a dominant bass line, add an electro beat, some analogue synths, a slightly gothic lovely singing, ghostly background voices and shake them up. You get a super catchy single, Forget me, by Sally Dige Jørgensen, a Danish girl who’s been moving between Berlin and Vancouver.
As a matter of fact, she is also quite pretty but that, obviously, is not music related, right ?
The “B” side, Losing you, might even be more catchy. It is also structured on a strong bass line and dark synths and it has even more power than Forget me.
This is the delicious second single from Sally, somewhere between dark syntpop and post-punk, like if Siouxsie had teamed up with New Order. What’s next, Sally ? We’re being impatient now …
