Somewhere on an electronic clubnight in Ghent, a fellow DJ gave me this promotional disc. I know the taste of this DJ and somehow I had some fear of this disc... I expected it to be a tad too harsh for me, but I was pleasantly surprised when I put this in my player...
OK, Stereo Sin produces indeed harsh electronics, but in the land of Suicide Commando, they fit in perfectly. The band (only existing since 2011) sounds mature and convincing. Yes,occasionally there are some small hooks, but for a first EP, this is impressive. Tracks are not that long, but they keep you interested for the whole time... Something a lot of electrobands can learn from as most tracks nowadays are just looping themselves for 6 minutes... Not here: refined electronics which do not last for more than 4 minutes...
