Although the newest When The Gods Dance became “getting back” for Celestial North, it seems like she hasn’t been taking a pause in her creativity. After the cover of R.E.M’s iconic Nightswimming, the singer made a serious step forward.
As announced, When The Gods Dance will be the first from the series of releases Celestial North would release over the course of the next few months up to the Fall of 2022, when her debut-LP would see the light. Finally.
Combining the smoky euphoric vibes of trip-hop with a certain pop-tonality in the vocal-phrasing, she found her own way of operating the well-known pop-sensibility in an absolutely astonishing way. Surprising. And interesting enough to add the upcoming LP to your Discogs Wantlist.
