When aesthetic and music have a perfect balance the audience perceive that quickly and that´s what you hear in Kaltherzig Darkness.
For moments this release reminds me of “Song Of Faith And Devotion” by Depeche Mode. Firstly there's the similar name, but also those drums mixed with synth melodies and a voice similar to Dave Gahan. I really appreciate it when bands have musical skills that show their influences and express that with pure originality. And also I am fan of Depeche Mode, so the similarity that I found with Kaltherzig and Depeche Mode is a positive aspect for me.
Also I appreciate the ambient touch in the EP, I’m talking about to the gloomy and melancholic essence that “Song Made of Solitude and Pain” has.A real tip I think.
