Jan Loamfield’s music will always have its supporters and opponents. Fact is that you have to admit that he is one of the best in its genre. It all began in 1988 when Jan experimented with a Commodore 64. The music of that time was pure techno, and the project was called X-FUSION. John made 10 albums by himself, he got bitten by the EBM microbe, and from Dial D For Demons (the first record on Dark Dimensions) on, X-FUSION was just Noisuf-X.

The style of Noisuf-X is a hybrid of power noise, EBM, industrial and techno: a successful combination that brought him many fans. The album The Beauty Of Destruction was a huge success in the German underground scene.

Kicksome (B)ass is Noisuf-X’s eighth album and it is clear that John has no intention to change the current recipe. Why should he anyway?

The neighbours will not be too happy with it, but this record has to be played at a very loud volume, hence the CD title Kicksome (B)ass.

The title of the tracks say enough: I Kick Your Fucking Teeth, Son Of A Bitch, Go Fuck Yourself or Fuck It! These are just a few examples of Jan Loamfield's prose. And so feels the music. Played vibrantly, and no pity for the eardrums (let alone the neighbours).

Music for empty heads, then? On the contrary! Just as Johan Van Roy does with Suicide Commando, Jan Loamfield creates intelligent, original aggro-techno in which you can find thousands of styles.

This release is a limited edition double CD, the bonus disc includes seven previously unreleased tracks.

De muziek van Jan Loamfield zal altijd voor- en tegenstanders hebben. Feit is dat je niet anders kan dan toegeven dat hij één van de beste in zijn genre is. Alles begon in 1988 toen Jan met een Commodore 64 experimenteerde. De muziek van toen was pure techno en het project heette X-FUSION. Op eigen houtje bracht Jan 10 platen uit, maar stilaan raakte hij gebeten door de EBM-microbe en vanaf Dial D For Demons (de eerste plaat op Dark Dimensions) werd X-FUSION gewoon NOISUF-X.

De eigen stijl van NOISUF-X is een hybride van powernoise, EBM, industrial en techno. Het is een geslaagde combinatie die hem de nodige fans bezorgde, de cd The Beauty Of Destruction was een gigantisch succes in de Duitse undergroundscène.

Kicksome (B)ass is ondertussen al de achtste plaat in het rijtje en het is duidelijk dat Jan niet van plan is om ook maar iets aan het huidige recept te veranderen. Waarom zou hij ook?

De buren zullen wellicht niet al te gelukkig zijn met deze stelling: deze plaat moet je op een ontzettend hard volume draaien, daarom heeft de cd de titel Kicksome (B)ass.

De titels liegen er ook om niet om: I Kick Your Fucking Teeth, Son Of A Bitch, Go Fuck Yourself of Fuck It! Het zijn maar een paar voorbeelden uit Jan Loamfield’s proza. En zo voelt de muziek ook aan. Loeihard en niet het minste medelijden met de trommelvliezen (laat staan de medemens).

Muziek voor leeghoofden, dan? Integendeel! Net zoals Johan Van Roy dat met Suicide Commando doet, zorgt ook Jan Loamfield voor intelligente, originele aggro-techno waarin je duizenden stijlen terugvindt.

Deze release is uitgebracht op een gelimiteerde dubbel-cd, het bonusschijfje telt zeven onuitgebrachte tracks.
