This "Psychological Warfare" remix and reissue will delight early Treponem Pal and La Muerte fans while its rather contrived - yet mightily efficient - layers of potent guitars and distorted lyrics in the Swamp Terrorists vein also bear more than a passing resemblance to the several gems Ministry released almost 20 years ago, if my memory serves me right.
Having seen and done it all, from "black metal, grindcore, punk, industrial and noise" to "an avant-garde jazz inflicted album" [unquote] Marc bares his dark soul over this 5' 52" anthem and its lengthy counterpart "God Smacker", delivering a pleasantly massive and uncompromising industrial metal onslaught. His sonic diary of everyday life and survival in cheerful sunny Chicago is well worth checking and altogether rather addictive and refreshing. I'd personally love to see this performed live now…
