I love the artwork and lay out by Mattias Frisk! Just the fantasy kind of thing I love! The owl is nicely drawn.

After this my attention gets into the music: loud screaming and guitars that remind me Rock and metal from the 70's. Love the background voices and sliding lead guitar. This one rocks from the start; however I have to get used to the screaming. 'Fire and steel' is a nice opening song revealing what will follow. It reminds me of some other metal bands I loved when I was a kid (like for example Manowar aka the lord of steel). 'Gunpowder treason' reminds me more of Axl Rose (but then with balls and without the pink attitude) and Guns'n Roses. I was a fan of the early years and this one sounds as if this could be the same band, but then anno 2013. Or to say it in other words: I simply love this song, it gives me a nice thrill. Same goes for all the other songs, one by one pearls and having a nice drive. I recognize their talent! Another thing that is sure is that Guns'n Roses can kick their singer and replace him by this one... This album will for sure blow some people out of their socks! A metal jewel that kicks ass!

A must for all GNR fans! I'm pretty sure that Hard Rock and Metal fans will appreciate this one too! Play it loud!
