CAPRICE

A year after the first part the Russian band CAPRICE finishes the beautiful fairy tale of “Girdenwodan”. This time again inspired by the lyrics from the likes of Stevenson, Byron and Wilde. The album is this time sung in English (and with a lovely accent). Musically it’s absolutely perfect again. The neo-classical/ heavenly voices band excels in functionality. Every instrument, every sound has its purpose. Unbelievable if we didn’t know this already from CAPRICE. Fact is however that the production seems better than before and the music of the band sounds more transparent than ever before. It‘s probably the reason that every little sound of violin, piano, harp or other instruments is noticed perfectly well. Every song is worked out wonderfully well. It leaves all the space for little sounds and the impressive voice of Inna Brejestovskaya. There’s musically so much beauty on “Girdenwodan Part 2” it’s impossible to describe the feeling you get from the music. Although it’s noticeably done with attention to the littlest detail the music sounds still surprisingly easy to the ears. CAPRICE releases the best classical dream pop with heavenly voices album so far. If you know the very impressive history of CAPRICE than you know how unbelievably great this album is.
