RELLA THE WOODCUTTER

Those who are following the Italian underground in an intense way might have heard from a band named The Rotten Wine Company, but then again not.
Brainchild of this bizarre named collective is the Italian musician Rella The Woodcutter who is now offering his psychedelic folk skills to the Boring Machines-label.
This EP that features five tracks is the forebode from a forthcoming album which is part of a vinyl trilogy.
And now the reason why you're reading this: how does it all sounds like?
Let's be honest about it, this experimental singersongwriterstuff will be either loved or hated even if it seems clear to us that someone who names his EP "I know when it's time to get the fuck away" doesn't give a toss about it as well.
At times this woodcutter sounds like Nick Drake who's inspired by the most weird drone/nu-folkensembles you can imagine and such things of course often lead to music that we easily tend to label as experimental.
The work from some lunatic genius or just a noise dabbler?
Depends on how you see it of course, but original nontheless.
