I already reviewed them in the past, so I know what to expect, but this one surprised me a bit. Their sound is more into the 70's, with a folk touch. This EP starts really great with Chocolate Women: great prog rock with a cool hook! Listen to the vocals and let you bewitch, just don't lose your head whilst head banging! Pagan Hill is what I call retro blues rock, with a very catchy melancholic sound. More folk blues comes with 21st Century Witch. The retro 70's sound is pretty cool, however I feel a bit too much of flowerpower influences in it.
Sunday Drama is completely into the psychedelic folk, my least favorite track on the album as it sounds too much as if they were all spaced out, high on pills or smoking weed. Move returns in the good direction: steaming retro rock with a bit of a David Bowie vibe. Strike Me (Hate Yourself) starts like a steaming blues rock track and keeps it rocking until the end! It's a pretty nice surprise!
