I have requested for this album with great expectations. And although the promised comparisation with Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen it does not really add up for me, the album still meets a high level. I would rather compare it with Deine Lakaien, especially the type of voice.
The spanish folkguitar is the extra touch that lifts the album to a great level.
Dead end house is by far the best track for me, making me feel like pulling an Argentinian beauty close for a tango, or wals with an Austrian on Silas spade. Oh yes, and why not a touch of jazz like in Swampland blues (euhm, what's in a name?).
The calm easy listening tracks of SALINE GRACE are great for your coffeebreak or a relaxing evening in the sofa: relax, lean back, have a drink and float away on the waves of musical genius that hits the brain, draining all stress away.
